Events Upcoming this fall

Here are some new events that I have recently been informed about, as wellÂ as reminders of others upcoming this fall:

A WW2 period dress, Hangar Dance will be held at Carroll County Airport October 17, 2009Â This is part of an Air Show October 16-19, call 410-591-3315 or e-mail www.collingsfoundation.org for more information.

On October 9,10,and 11, 2009, at Williamsport, Md there will be a WW2 week-end.Â Go to www.airborne506.org/williamsport for more detailed information.

A 1942 Newsreel, cartoons, and feature movie “Casablanca” will be shown Friday night at Port Theatre in Williamsport, cost $0.50. It is also close to Harpers Ferry which is also having a civil war week-end same week end.

October 3rd and 4th:Â Portersville Steam Show, Portersville, PA – Sponsored by:Portersville Steam and Old Equipment Association.Co. K U.S. 28th Infantry will set up a living history display at the show.

2009 joint Open House of the Virgina Museum of Military Vehicles and the National Museum of Americans in Wartime on October 24 and 25 at the “tank farm” located in Nokesville Virginia.
