Here are some new events that I have recently been informed about, as well  as reminders of others upcoming this fall:

A WW2 period dress, Hangar Dance will be held at Carroll County Airport October 17, 2009  This is part of an Air Show October 16-19, call 410-591-3315 or e-mail www.collingsfoundation.org for more information.
On October 9,10,and 11, 2009, at Williamsport, Md there will be a WW2 week-end.  Go to www.airborne506.org/williamsport for more detailed information.
A 1942 Newsreel, cartoons, and feature movie “Casablanca” will be shown Friday night at Port Theatre in Williamsport, cost $0.50. It is also close to Harpers Ferry which is also having a civil war week-end same week end.

October 3rd and 4th:  Portersville Steam Show, Portersville, PA – Sponsored by:Portersville Steam and Old Equipment Association.Co. K U.S. 28th Infantry will set up a living history display at the show.
