Amazon has Ken Burns’ The Civil War for $50.99.  Normally it’s $99.99. This is a great film that I would daresay redefined the documentary style of film-making.

If you were holding out for a great deal on 1993’s “reenactor classic” Gettysburg is available for on $5.49 and in Widescreen!

Another great Ken Burns film is The War – A Film By Ken Burns and Lynn Novick. Amazon also has it for $50.99.  It’s regular price is $129.99, so this is an even better deal!

Sergeant York
Sergeant York (Two-Disc Special Edition)
The 1941 Gary Cooper classic is on sale for a mere $8.99. Normally it is $26.

Empire of the Sun

Empire of the Sun (Snap Case)
One of my personal favorite movies, Empire of the Sun, featuring a very young Christian Bale is on sale for half-price at $6.99.

Deadwood: The Complete Series
If you’re like me and can’t get enough of Al Swearengen swearin’ up  a storm, you definitely need to snap up this great deal on the complete Deadwood series. It’s $97.49 where it’ll normally set you c**ks**kers back $179.00. 😛

Blu-Ray Movies

    “Empire of the Sun” is a great choice, my mother lived in China at that time when she was a child and she was amazed at the level of accuracy of the details of the movie.
