About

Welcome to the Reenactor Post. This is a blog about reenacting and we are excited to have this forum to write about a hobby that we enjoy so much.

Jim Barnes has been reenacting since 1989.   He currently resides in Morgantown, WV and you can see him at many of the events taking place in WV, PA, MD, and VA.

Our hope is that this site will provide a news and information for reenactors in West Virginia and adjoining regions. We welcome your input.

Comments Terms of Service

We hope users will submit relevant, well reasoned comments that advance topics being discussed.

Comments that are abusive, obscene, vulgar, slanderous, hateful, threatening, sexually-oriented, or any other material that may violate any applicable laws may not be published. Any comments that involve name-calling, personal insults and personal attacks will not be posted.

Also – No modern politics – we have to put up with enough of that as it is. So if you want to talk politics, keep on topic and period (eg. talking about Jefferson Davis’ infighting with his cabinet or Stalin manipulating the party officials during his rise to power).

Persistent posting of innappropriate comments may lead to users being immediately and permanently banned. The IP address of all comments is recorded to aid in enforcing these conditions. The webmaster, administrator, and moderators of a blog may remove any comment at any time. Blog users agree to any information entered being stored in a database. While this information will not be disclosed to any third party without the user’s consent, the webmaster, administrator, and moderators cannot be held responsible for any hacking attempt that may lead to the data being compromised.
