Winter Doldrums

It’s that time of year when the holidays are over and the reenacting season hasn’t really started. Winter doldrums are upon us. Living Historians are typically making repairs or additions to their kits and getting ready for the upcoming season. WWII reenactors have the Battle of the Bulge Reenactment at Fort Indiantown Gap, coming up in a couple of weeks. Civil War reenactors are looking forward to the first year in the 150th year anniversary cycle of the American Civil War. What about the rest of you?
We would love to hear from some of you 18th Century and beyond folks to tell us what you are up to and what is going on this year.

Winter: the perfect time for American Revolutionary War reenactors to wrap their feet in rags and march about…
I am also commenting to ask the best place to try to locate a few of the Civil War reenactors I photographed at the Wade House in Wisconsin in 2009. Is there a good place to post the photos to try to find these folks? Thanks.
